Yes, but it’s getting warmer. We will resume our beach rides starting Monday, February 15, 2010.

Trail Riding Along the Myakka River

Experience “Old Florida”


Join us for two hours of horseback riding at our favorite place to ride, Deer Prairie Creek Preserve.


This is an entertaining and educational nature tour. Expect to see rare and endangered plants that are native to Florida. You are certain to see some wildlife and a lot of beautiful scenery.


Your horse will probably walk most of the time, but if you're up to it, we may trot and canter a bit. We have both English- and western-style saddles.


The minimum age for this ride is 8. Florida State Law requires that anyone under the age of 16 must wear a helmet (provided).
